We are a family of like-minded believers in Jesus Christ who live in and around West Newton, PA. We strive to serve our community through assistance in meeting identified needs and through sharing our hearts with love, kindness, and guidance. We strive for accuracy in biblical instruction and an absolute obligation to the authority of the scripture. Our emphasis is on evangelism, loving fellowship, and our commitment to living a holy life.

We Intend To:
What We Believe
- The Bible is the infallible and inerrant Word of God without error and inspired by God, the word is immutable& can’t be changed.
- That God is Sovereign, Holy and Ruler of the universe.
- He exists eternally in three persons; The God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and God the Holy Spirit.
- Jesus Christ is not only the Son of God, but He is God incarnate (Jesus became man to confirm God’s love, forgiveness & Promise of Eternal Life to Us)
- Jesus was born of a virgin.
- Christ was crucified for our sins that we may be found not guilty & justified because He was the Sin Sacrifice.
- Jesus rose from the dead & ascended to heaven to be with God the father; He rules at the right hand of God & by our faith in Him we are joint heirs with Him.
- Christ will return for His church at the appointed time; Jesus will gather all those who believe in Him.
- God will judge those who have not placed their faith in His Son.
- Heaven and Hell are real places.
- Salvation through Jesus Christ is the only way to get God’s forgiveness and receive the gift of eternal life.
Church Ministries
Helping Hands
On the second Tuesday of every month, volunteers perform acts of service to individuals or groups in the local community. Meetings begin with a devotional reading and prayer followed by a discussion of potential projects (sending cards to shut-ins, gifts for people in local nursing homes, etc.). They provide meaningful ministry that blesses both the recipients and group in service to others.
Operation Christmas Child
A year-long effort to reach needy children around the world with items that can be fit into a shoebox, Operation Christmas Child is part of “Samaritan’s Purse” founded by Franklin Graham. Every shoebox costs about $10 to ship and contains a variety of donations collected throughout the year such as soap, wash cloths, toothbrushes, hygiene items, dolls, toys, and puzzles.
Women In Prayer
Meeting regularly every Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until noon, women of the church and the community gather to lift up in prayer any spiritual, financial, physical and emotional need that the children of God might encounter in their everyday lives. The group also prays for missionaries and missions supported by the church as well as the church itself, its leaders, our nation, and the world we live in.
